There were green people everywhere around Rådhuspladsen yesterday--unfortunately there was another event at same time! (foreigners in Denmark) Wakeup call! to organizers:: check your dates/times for conflicting events!
Yeah, I was there, a shame that you couldn't hear the alarms go off, since I suppose it was actually quite loud, I suppose that's the problem with events like this. The big event at City Hall Square was to celebrate Eid ul-Fitr, and I believe that it was organised much later than the avaaz.org event
BTW. I'm trying to figure out who Avaaz . org is, it's quite difficult to find any independent journalism, besides a HARDtalk interview with their chief executive Ricken Patel http://www.vimeo.com/369614 - I've also found out that Avaaz.Org is linked to MoveOn.Org - not that makes me any more enlightened.
I'm on their 3 million strong mailing-list, which means that they count me as a member.
