My first Roskilde Festival in 26 year was a nice experience, the
atmosphere is actualy much the same. This has changed however: The
music is much more diverse, the sanitation is much, much, better,
and the camping area is one huge block party, big thums up to the
parties near Exit 9, I wonder how much the equipment, especially
the batteries, weigh.
Being a voluenteer was nice, the Staff Lounge behind Orange
Stage was a much welcome oasis, where we were pampered. Being on
the graveyard shift from 3am to 9am on the night between saturday
and sunday was tough, especially since I hadn't slept more than 40
minuttes the night before.
Good to hear you enjoyed yourself.. Sorry we lost you during
Chemical Brothers.. I tried to keep an eye out for you, but all of
a sudden you were gone.. I'm considering how to enjoy Roskilde next
year.. Perhaps from a hotel? Perhaps just from the Tuborg Camp
(which was really nice to have access to after saturday night)..?
Perhaps in "Camp worst camp ever camp camp" aka "Camp Touch
This"..? Perhaps my brother should join me next year.. Only thing I
know for sure is, I'm definitely gonna bring a bike.. A small and
rugged one!
Actually you didn't loose me, I was close by you all the time. I
had to leave early, since I had to walk to the camp and back again,
in order to make it to the graveyward shift :-(. The walk,
including fighting the crowds, took about 40 minuttes. Nice pics
BTW!
Oh we were very easy to find. Head for the Volvo flag, then the
orange flag, and then the green tent. Or blue? Well, big. With like
20 people inside. To your right. Yes. Oh, hej Henriette!

I had a super festival as well, albeit I didn't spot any of your
familiar faces, sadly - perhaps next year?! Actually, I didn't set
my feet on the camping area one single time, as I drove home every
night to my warm, comforting bed and a shower! ^-^ Had media area
access, as writing/photographing for Antenna.
